Hosted a board game event in the afternoon here with a group of friends and had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the night. They made everything feel easy from start to finish, which I really appreciated as the host. The venue itself was also perfect for a social gathering, with a fun and lively atmosphere while still being comfortable enough for everyone to hang out, play games, and enjoy dessert together. And of course, the desserts were a huge highlight. The Golden Toast is still my personal favorite and something I always recommend. It’s warm, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and pairs so well with the ice cream and toppings. Definitely a must-try if it’s your first time at Spot. I also tried their new chrysanthemum tea drink and really enjoyed it! It tasted super refreshing, light, and honestly kind of healthy in the best way. It was a nice balance after all the sweets and something I’d definitely order again. Big thank you to the Spot Dessert Bar LIC team for taking such good care of us and helping make the event such a fun night. Everyone had a great time, and I’d absolutely come back

Great spot to catch up with friends, bring a date, or meet new people! I am obsessed with their matcha drinks. The new banana cream one is out of this world. The cookie crumb on top is just chefs kiss. I love coming here to cowork with friends on Fridays. The staff is so friendly and sweet!

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and finally got the chance since I was working near the LIC location. I ordered the golden toast and it did not disappoint. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch, the ice cream paired really well with it, and the strawberries added a nice little tart kick to bring everything together. Definitely glad I tried it!

Great desserts, great place and great service 🙏 Also, I know the Golden Toast is the best seller, but Matcha Lava Cake and the experience of pouring the chocolate in the Harvest are waaay ahead. For this time I had: Matcha Lava Cake with a Single Espresso shot to balance the flavors (the sweet of the cake with the bitter of a good pure coffee shot) Hope you get to enjoy this amazing spot! 🍰☕️

Spot Dessert Bar's Long Island City location offers a commendable selection of desserts. Please note that individual ice cream scoops are modestly sized and may not be ideal for sharing. Our experience with the golden toast found it to be somewhat firm and rather uninspired. The matcha lava cake was acceptable, though it would have benefited from being served warm to achieve optimal "lava" consistency. The matcha flavor was also quite subtle. The service, however, was exceptional. Staff members were attentive, checking on us periodically and ensuring our water glasses were refilled. This establishment provides a pleasant atmosphere suitable for families, couples, or individuals.
